The new year is not about doing more but about focusing on the right things. I am always looking for a way to attract positive things in my life and it often lies in the details. Just like my post on creating your own affirmations, the law of attraction will not work unless you put in the work. These are just tools to help you achieve what you want in life. They are simple but effective.
I have quotes that motivate me as backgrounds on my cellphone, iPad and laptop. When you see the same thing everyday there comes a time where you don’t even notice it so I change it when I feel like it doesn’t impact me anymore. Seeing it motivates me and is a reminder of what I am aiming for in life. It doesn’t have to be a quote it could be an inspiring picture or even a digital version of your vision board.
Most of us enter passwords to log in into many different platforms and websites everyday. This is the perfect opportunity to engrave things into our brain. When creating your passwords, choose something that you want to put out into the universe. It can be something like “Iamgoodenough”, “Iamkind” or “Ihavefinancialfreedom”. Then you just have to add the capital letters, numbers and symbols most sites require.
Writing quotes in your planner, journal or on sticky notes you can leave all over your house/desk at work is a great way to remind yourself of what you want in life. It is easy to change them and move them around so it doesn’t just become part of the decor you don’t notice anymore.
Putting your vision board somewhere where you will see it everyday makes it a lot more effective. Having it in multiple places is even better. As mentioned before, you can have it as your desktop background or even your phone background. You can also have it in your room where you can see it every morning and night.
