Using planners and notebooks to organize my life is probably my favorite hobby. It just makes me feel like I have it together and motivates me to be really productive. I have tried many planners so far but have not yet found THE ONE (Which is why I am currently making my own).  I gave bullet journaling a try because you can really create something that fits your needs and wants and I loved it. The only issue was that it is time-consuming (If you want to make it pretty and all) so I didn’t keep up with it. Right now what works for me is organizing everything on my phone so I want to share with you the apps that help me organize my life every day.

I discovered this app recently and it was a game changer for me. I discovered it watching a youtube review of the physical version of this planner.  This is my favorite planning app so far because of its focus on happiness. It is not simply a place to write your appointments and to-dos but it helps you grow as a person and inspires you with its quotes and readings.

When you first download the app, it brings you through the Happiness Roadmap which asks you many questions on your feelings, habits, and goals.

Every day, you have space to write a lot of details about your day like what’s on your schedule, what you have to do, how you’re feeling and what you are eating.

You can also plan your monthly goals and reflect on them at the end of the month.

My favorite parts and the one I haven’t seen before on a planning app are the daily quotes and readings.

The app allows you to give it a try for 14 days for free. After that, it costs $3.99 per month and for someone who really thinks about spending money on an app, I think it is completely worth it.

Download the app here to give it a try.

Every person that likes to plan knows that to-do lists are ESSENTIAL. This app allows you to create different to-do lists where you can add your tasks in it. What I like about it is that you can add sub-tasks and a due date to the tasks.

This app is something I use because of my long distance relationship. Being far apart, we try to keep each other updated on our daily lives and this has helped us do that. FamCal lets you create a family account to which you can log in from many devices. In it, each person has its own internal account with a different color. My boyfriend and I each write in our schedules on the shared calendar where the other person is able to see it. These are the other sections:

  • Shopping lists (Which is more useful when you live together.)
  • To-do lists (Individual and shared)
  • Memos (Shared)
  • Contacts (This is useful for having the contact information of people you both want to have access to like family members, the doctor or the car shop.)
  • Birthdays (The perfect place where we have all of our close family members’ birthdays so we don’t forget.)

Download here to try the app.

Hope this helps you organize your day! Please let me know in the comments if you use any of these or give them a try. Also, let me know if you have any other apps that you swear by as I love discovering new ways to make my days and life easier and more effective. 🙂
